Monica, the <b><b>7th A.i.Te.l Dairy Congress<\/b><\/b>,will be held, where topics such as: <i>agricultural production, animal welfare, dairy processing and the sustainable valorisation of dairy products will be discussed.\n<\/i><br><br>\n\nDuring the session \"Milk and dairy products: a supply chain that confronts sustainability\"  <b><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.igeacultures.com\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color:red\">Igea<\/span><\/a><\/b><\/b> will present the research poster of its  <i><b><b>SHIELD\u00ae<\/b><\/b><\/i> range of bio-protection cultures. \n<br><br>The session will be organised by <b><b>A.i.Te.l (the Italian Dairy Technicians Association)<\/b><\/b> and in collaboration with the <b><b>Universit\u00e0 Cattolica del Sacro Cuore<\/b><\/b>.\n<br>\n\nThe range of protective cultures <i><b><b>SHIELD\u00ae<\/b><\/b><\/i>, was developed through an experimental design that analysed the effect of environmental and process factors considering the intensity spectrum of antimicrobial activity of strains selected for their antagonistic abilities.\n<br><br>\n\nProtective cultures, which today are of particular interest to dairy producers due to their ability to eliminate or reduce the use of chemical additives and fulfil the requirements of clean and short label.<br><br>\n\n<b><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.igeacultures.com\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color:red\">Igea<\/span><\/a><\/b><\/b>, together with the R&D team of <\/span><\/b><\/b> <span style=\"color:#49a5df\"><b><b>Mediterranea Biotecnologie<\/span><\/b><\/b> and <span style=\"color:#9ecf3f\"><b><b>Scienzanova<\/span><\/b> <\/b> <span style=\"color:#000000\">hanno , developed a range of multi-strain formulations based on the antagonistic activity of individual strains towards yeasts, moulds and gram-negative  (<i>Pseudomonas spp.<\/i>, <i>Escherichia coli<\/i>) and gram-positive (<i>Listeria monocytogenes<\/i>) bacteria.<br><br>\n\nOn the basis of the results, three distinct cultures were formulated with multiple and complex compositions, capable of excellent inhibitory activity at different pH conditions, characteristic of specific\nDairy macro-categories.\n<br><br>\n\nThe <i><b><b>SHIELD\u00ae<\/b><\/b><\/i> research studies were carried out in collaboration with the \n<b><b>University of Molise<\/b><\/b>.\n\n\n\n<br><br><b><span style=\"color:#49a5df\">--------------------------------------------------<\/b><\/span>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-46bf3a7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"46bf3a7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<style>\/*! elementor - v3.8.0 - 30-10-2022 *\/\n.elementor-widget-image{text-align:center}.elementor-widget-image a{display:inline-block}.elementor-widget-image a img[src$=\".svg\"]{width:48px}.elementor-widget-image img{vertical-align:middle;display:inline-block}<\/style>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1500\" height=\"2195\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mediterranea-srl.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Poster-Congresso_Cremona_def-1.png\" class=\"attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mediterranea-srl.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Poster-Congresso_Cremona_def-1.png 1500w, https:\/\/www.mediterranea-srl.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Poster-Congresso_Cremona_def-1-205x300.png 205w, https:\/\/www.mediterranea-srl.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Poster-Congresso_Cremona_def-1-700x1024.png 700w, https:\/\/www.mediterranea-srl.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Poster-Congresso_Cremona_def-1-768x1124.png 768w, https:\/\/www.mediterranea-srl.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Poster-Congresso_Cremona_def-1-1050x1536.png 1050w, https:\/\/www.mediterranea-srl.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Poster-Congresso_Cremona_def-1-1400x2048.png 1400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On September 7th.2023 in Cremona, at the Campus S.
